About CICI

The Conflict Islands Conservation Initiative Trust (CICI) was founded in 2017 and officially established as a charitable trust in 2018. Its aim is to preserve the natural environment of the Coral Sea and The Conflict Islands, combatting climate change and protecting endangered species like turtles and sharks. Partnering with The Coral Islands Ltd, CICI engage with local communities to provide education and conservation programs on the ground with their indigenous rangers in Papua New Guinea.
